Internal films for Siemens Healthineers Diagnostic Imaging and 3D Animated Films for RUGGEDCOM

24 films total on six key topics, over a six month period

At the beginning of my time at Siemens Healthineers, my task was to analyze the existing films being used internally for executive communication, and find a way to make them more attractive, thereby raising viewership. Once I found a concept which executive management approved of, I had to figure out both what top management wanted to communicate, and what the viewers actually wanted to hear more about. We also met the demands of the Head of Diagnostic Imaging (DI), lobbying for our own "Diagnostic Imaging" channel on the internal Siemens video platform, which would serve as a platform for all Diagnostic Imaging films, allowing the employees of DI to focus on videos which were most relevant to them.

Over the course of a six-month period, I worked with a total of 16 people–in various business units and countries–to come up with six different four-part film series. It turned out to be more challenging than expected, as there were 30 steps involved in the approval of each of the 24 films, involving a dozen people, from the concept creation, to the final approval.

Prior to my time at Siemens Healthineers, I helped create storyboards and manage the approval process for films at hl-studios, including the 3D animated clip highlighting the features of the RUGGEDCOM RX1400 and,  more recently, the RUGGEDCOM RSG 920P, before supporting the filmmakers at Feedback Communication with complex films for Siemens Energy.
